Stephanie was surrounded by beautiful jewelry from an early age. Her mother and aunt, both antique jewelry dealers and collectors, brought home dazzling treasures from across Europe—inducting Stephanie into the enchanting world of precious metals, sparkling gems and exquisite design. Gypsy rings, filigree earrings, art deco pendants, cloisonné brooches—these were just some of Stephanie’s play companions that marked her deep appreciation for superb craftsmanship.

Moving to New York City after completing her graduate studies in marketing, Stephanie embarked on a successful advertising career as a copywriting. Yet the desire to work with her hands still ran deep.Over dinner with friends, she was introduced to a jeweler based in New York who graciously agreed to show her the ropes. And the rest, as they say, is history…

Stephanie has completed five years of metal smith training at the renowned Jewelry Arts Institute of Manhattan. There she has learned the craft of designing and making jewelry by applying venerable techniques that date back to the Roman Empire and the Byzantinium. To augment her metalsmithing skills, Stephanie studied with master wax craftsman Fred de Vos and continues her wax carving and molding work at the 92 Y—one of the best jewelry studios in the city. Her pieces are crafted from sterling silver, gold vermeil and 22-karat hand-alloyed gold. Using a dazzling array of precious and semi-precious stones, Stephanie is inspired by the old and the new—creating an aesthetic that celebrates the timeless and the boldly feminine.

Her pieces include necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and cufflinks.
